Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
We are looking for a teacher that will create a high-quality, inclusive early learning program for our three- and four-year-old children on Pasqua First Nation.
Chief Paskwa Education Centre is located 60 km (about 37.28 mi) northeast of Regina, situated by the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley along Pasqua Lake.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education Degree
- (or) Early Childhood Education
- (or) Related field with the focus on pre-kindergarten/early learning
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Land-based learning experience would be an asset
- Experience teaching a multi-level class would be an asset
- Prior experience in First Nations schools would be an asset
- Valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate
- Good understanding of First Nations culture and traditions
- Complete criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
