The Leading Thunderbird Lodge is a 15 bed residential youth treatment facility located near Fort Qu’Appelle, Sk. The Lodge offers a 12-week treatment program for First Nations and Inuit Youth who are experiencing challenges with alcohol, drug and solvent.

The Lodges culturally based treatment program is designed for male youth from across Canada who are between the ages of 12-17 years. The treatment program is holistic and based on the Medicine Wheel, providing growth and development in the areas of: mental, social, physical and spiritual wellbeing. Specific components of programming include:

▪   individual and group counseling

▪   clinical consults

▪   therapeutic recreation

▪   classroom education

▪   cultural and spiritual teachings

▪   life skills

▪   community outreach (presentations, educational sessions)

▪   aftercare
