Message from Tribal Chief Jeremy Fourhorns:

It is with great pride and a strong sense of commitment to our Nations that I welcome you to the new website of the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council (FHQTC). This website serves as a vital resource for our 11 member First Nations, their citizens, and our partners. It is a platform for communication, connection, and collaboration – designed to enhance transparency, accessibility, and engagement within our Tribal Council and the communities we serve.

At FHQTC, we remain steadfast in our mission to protect, implement, and enforce Inherent and Treaty Rights while supporting self-determination, economic growth, governance, and social development for our Nations. This website is a reflection of that commitment, offering clear and accessible information about the programs, services, and initiatives that support our people.

Whether you are looking for governance updates, health and wellness services, education and training opportunities, or economic development initiatives, this platform is built to serve you.

We are living in a time of transformation, where our Nations continue to build on the strength of our ancestors while forging new paths forward. Our governance, our advocacy, and our strategic initiatives are focused on achieving meaningful progress in areas that matter most to our communities. Through this website, we aim to provide up-to-date information, highlight key successes, and create a space for ongoing dialogue with our member First Nations.

I encourage all citizens, leaders, and partners to explore this website and use it as a tool for engagement, learning, and advocacy. It is through unity and shared knowledge that we strengthen our governance, advance our priorities, and build a prosperous future for our people.

Thank you for visiting. Our journey is strong, our future is bright, and together, we rise.
In Unity and Strength,

Jeremy Fourhorns
