Pre-Employment Supports
The Pre-Employment Supports (PES) program assists individuals to transition from income assistance to employment by identifying and addressing barriers to employment.
If you are between the ages of 18-64, live on-reserve, are currently on income assistance, and are ready to work, then the Pre-Employment Support program is an option for you.
The PES program can help eligible participants improve their skills through life and work skills workshops. It can also assist in obtaining a driver’s license, safety tickets, or with other activities that help prepare people for employment or job training.
PES Personal Development
PES Case Workers provide individualized assessments and develop Mandatory Action Plans that will identify how a client plans to remove barriers to employment, develop necessary skills, and enter educational programs that lead to training and employment.
