POSITION SUMMARY:

Located on Treaty 4 Territory in the breathtaking Qu’Appelle Valley, the All Nations’ Healing Hospital (ANHH) delivers culturally-led, wholistic, and patient-centered care for rural and First Nation communities.

We are seeking a confident and experienced rural nurse leader to serve as the Acute Care Unit Coordinator – NURSE B to provide clinical leadership and operational coordination for our inpatient and emergency services.

This role is ideal for a clinically strong and experienced RN who thrives in rural practice, values autonomy, and is ready to lead both people and systems in a dynamic rural acute care setting.

Reporting to the Director of Acute & Clinical Services, the role blends hands-on clinical practice with strategic leadership. In this position you will:

  • Role model to the acute care team to understand and fulfill the strategic mission, vision, and values of ANHH and the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council (FHQTC).
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to a high functioning multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, high-quality, and wholistic care.
  • Coordinate daily operations to ensure effective patient flow, staffing optimization, and continuity of care from admission to discharge.
  • Provide direct patient care as required in complex care situations, including participating in daily physician rounds and patient/family conferences.
  • Foster collaboration across departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Strengthen clinical excellence and resilience through mentorship, coaching, professional development, policy implementation, and innovative initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of an approved school of Nursing
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of rural acute care nursing experience preferred
  • Previous leadership, supervisory experience or training considered an asset
  • Openness to Indigenous worldviews and traditional healing practices is strongly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and build trusting and collaborative
    relationships.
