The File Hills Qu’Appelle (FHQ) Tribal Council Sports & Recreation department is officially hosting tryouts for youth track and field athletics. The tryouts will take place on Sunday, May 31st, 2026, at Douglas Park in Regina, Saskatchewan. The event is scheduled to begin promptly at 3:00 PM. While an official end time has not been specified, participants should expect to be on-site for a few hours to complete all necessary athletic assessments.

The tryouts are open to both male and female athletes across three specific youth age categories determined by birth year: the 13U division (born in 2013 or 2014), the 15U division (born in 2011 or 2012), and the 17U division (born in 2009 or 2010).

Crucial Registration Information: All athletes are required to arrive exactly one hour prior to the 3:00 PM start time (at 2:00 PM). This early arrival is mandatory to complete the on-site registration process and to have a required photo ID taken before the tryouts begin.
