Information Technology (IT) Support – Health Services

The File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to 11 First Nations throughout Southern Saskatchewan within the Treaty Four Territory. The position will work as part of the First Nations Health Services (FHNS) team, based at the “All Nations Healing Hospital” located in Fort Qu’Appelle, SK.

Reporting to the Executive Director of All Nations’ Healing Hospital (ANHH) & First Nations Health Services or her designate, this position will provide technical support for daily IT operations for FNHS, and ANHH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals
  • Maintain inventory of computer and IT equipment
  • Assist with administration of network processes, server maintenance, migrating new computers, installation, and update of software
  • Assist with administration of all email accounts
  • Provide technical advice to staff and provide training as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or certificate in Information Technology, A+ Certification an asset plus one year experience in IT related field
  • Exceptional knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and software
  • Exceptional knowledge of networking equipment and cabling
  • Exceptional interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and deliver education and training programs
  • Ability to work in a team setting and be self-motivated
  • Ability to transfer, lift and reposition equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to work within First Nations Traditional and Spiritual Institutes
  • Must possess a strong work ethic
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Current CPIC

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (7.5 hrs./day).
Flexibility may be required due to operational requirements.

Salary Range/Benefits:
$61,786 – $69,106
