Under the general supervision of the FNEC Program Manager, the Career Advisor will provide urban First Nations’ people with advocacy, employment and training services for the advancement of employment opportunities. The Career Advisor will case manage clients to assess training and educational needs, assist with goal setting and ensure they have defined career paths."

Under the supervision of the FNFSC Coordinator, the Family Support Worker provides services and support to families living in at-risk conditions. The Family Support Worker is responsible for providing support, crisis intervention and referral services for families engaged in the program. The Family Support Worker will conduct home visits with participants to ensure ongoing supports are in place. The Family Support Worker will provide confidential assistance to families who are requiring social, economic, spiritual and emotional support. The Family Support Worker will advocate for the family and ensure that referrals are made if additional services are required. The Family Support Worker will work in close consultation with the staff to ensure that standards and quality services are maintained.

Regina Treaty/Status Indian Services Inc. (RT/SIS) is a non-profit organization that provides a range of programs and services to the First Nations population in the City of Regina. RT/SIS is an affiliate organization of the Touchwood Agency and the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council that serves 15 First Nations in Southern Saskatchewan and within the Treaty Four Territory. The RT/ SIS Inc. Houselessness Initiative Programs are designed to assist houseless clients with transition support services as well as rehabilitation and reintegration into the community. This operation is a 24 hours per day, 7 days per week congregate setting facility. These positions will have day, evening and overnight shifts. A key responsibility of this role will be assisting with the coordination of the Jays Care Rookie League, a community-based baseball program that uses sport to promote inclusion, leadership, and healthy living among Indigenous youth.

Under the supervision of the Coordinator, the Transition Support Worker is the primary contact with clients and are responsible for daily activities of the program as well as facilitation and implementation of programming. The Support Worker will provide mentorship and support to clients as they transition from supportive housing to independent housing. The Support Worker will develop an individualized case plan based on the assessment needs for the client that is consistent with the overall case management. The Support Worker will also assist clients in gaining insight into their problems, finding workable solutions to those problems and improving their decision-making skills. They will also be proactive and creative in outreach efforts to engage and maintain client involvement. In addition, this position will report on client progress to the team through ongoing documentation, communication and monitoring significant events of the client and will relay this information to team members.

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Youth Navigator is responsible for navigating childcare, youth care, and Youth Initiative Programs, which are designed to assist youth with barriers to succeed. The Navigator will provide confidential assistance to youth who require support and guidance. In addition, the Navigator will work in close cooperation with the Director and staff to ensure that standards, child and youth service laws and services are met.
