FHQTC 2Spirit & URPride Conference 2026

Join the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council and URPride for the 2Spirit & URPride Conference held at the University of Regina on February 16th and 17th, 2026. This two-day event features a keynote address from Scott Wabano and a diverse program including a Pipe Ceremony, 2S History with Nina Wilson, and sessions on transitioning from lateral violence to lateral kindness. Attendees will also engage in critical discussions regarding pronoun policy and the notwithstanding clause with Bridgit O’Brien, Tyler George, and Kakisiwew. The conference offers a 2S Panel, mental health workshops with Dorothy Alexson, and arts sessions with Akita Waditaka. A special Sweat ceremony will take place on February 16th at a location to be determined. This conference is open to students, community members, and allies interested in 2Spirit advocacy and Indigenous knowledge.
