Star Blanket Cree Nation invites community members, families, and visitors to join in honoring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation at the Annual Orange Shirt Day Commemoration. Held in collaboration with White Raven Healing Centre and Kihew Kawaaskasit-SBCN Health Services, this gathering provides a dedicated space to honor residential school survivors, remember those lost, and continue a collective path toward healing and reconciliation.

The event takes place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at the White Calf Gym (Wahpiimoostoosis Gym) in Lebret, SK.

Activities begin at 10:00 AM with an Opening Prayer, followed by a catered breakfast buffet, t-shirt distribution, and a Smudge Walk starting at 11:00 AM.

Throughout the event, IRS testimonies and mental health supports will be available from the White Raven Healing Centre and FHQTC Health Services, along with children and youth activities hosted by Kihew Kawaaskasit-SBCN Health Services
