Honouring Jordan River Anderson – Jordan’s Principle

Join us as we remember and honour Jordan Anderson’s life, as his legacy continues to help countless First Nations children across Canada. Jordan’s Principle Health Navigators will be there to assist individuals with determining eligibility, accessing available services for children, completing and submitting Jordan’s Principle applications, and more.
October 22, 1999, marks the birthdate of Jordan River Anderson. His life inspired the creation of Jordan’s Principle, a principle that “ensures there is substantive equality and that there are no gaps in publicly funded health, social, and educational programs, services, and supports for First Nations children.” (Assembly of First Nations, 2018)
Those who attend will have a chance to enter a draw for an original piece of art from a local Indigenous artist as well as other prizes.
