Star Blanket Cree Nation warmly invites community members, dancers, drummers, and visitors to the 2026 Treaty 4 Traditional Powwow! Held at the Treaty 4 Powwow Grounds located by Fort Qu’Appelle, SK, this annual gathering brings together nations across Treaty 4 territory to celebrate culture, dance, song, and community.

The Powwow will take place on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, 2026. Grand Entry times are scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and Sunday at 1:00 PM. Dance categories paid daily include Tiny Tots, Juniors, Teens, Adults, and Golden Age across Jingle, Fancy Shawl, Traditional, Fancy Bustle, Grass, and Chicken dance styles.

Special Events & Schedule Highlights:

• Saturday Specials: Braylee Starr Tiny Tot Initiation, FHQ Women’s Council Red Dress, Marcel Starr Memorial Traditional Men’s, and others as announced.

• Sunday Specials: Treaty 4 Sr. Princess Layla Okeeweehow-Desnomie Adult Women’s Jingle, and others as announced.

• Sunday Auction: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Host drums are picked daily, and registered drums, veterans, and cadets are paid daily. Sound is provided by Wasteste Sound. Please note this is a drug- and alcohol-free event with on-site security.
