Mental Health Services

FHQTC Education Mental Health Services aims to enhance well-being, build resilience, and support positive outcomes for students and schools.

Flexible counseling services are available in-person, by phone, or via video, providing safe spaces to address challenges and improve mental health. Referrals are accepted from schools, parents, caregivers, or students; parental consent is required for those under 16.

Social-emotional learning equips students with essential skills like self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship building, and responsible decision-making. School wellness plans, developed in collaboration with internal departments and external agencies, address topics such as:

  • Alcohol and drug awareness
  • SGI traffic safety prevention
  • Bullying and cyberbullying prevention
  • Healthy relationships
  • Physical wellness and sports
  • 2Spirit safe spaces

Together, these initiatives foster a holistic, inclusive approach to student wellness, empowering them to thrive personally and academically.
