I’m a 70 year old Romani/Sinti woman…a singer and dancer since my teens. Outsiders call us Gypsy but that word is incorrect. We are an indigenous people originating in India. Most do NOT know our history or culture only the stereotypes. I’ve always been interested in Native American languages coming from a nonAmerican indigenous group. I am pleased I discovered this site and hope my enrolling is welcome.
